While we are currently waiting for the release of Patch 9.2 in Wow Shadow lands, one can of course distribute the time in Zeroth with content away from the shadow lands. It also offers to unlock Decagon if you did not do that yet. The mysterious island in Battle for Zeroth is full of cool collective items such as special mounts, toys or pets. But Wows Decagon unlock is not so small undertaking.
Theoretically, you can just fly to Decagon — but it really makes sense to do that in front of these intro quests. Because so you have no quests and no earmark unlocked there.

Unlock in Wow Decagon
To get full access to the island of Mechanize, you have to play the history of Battle for Zeroth to a certain point. The trip to Narrator is crucial (NASCAR and Decagon were introduced in the same patch). But it is not only enough to come to the realm of Asmara with your character or a twink.
You have to complete the quest a hardened blade (alliance) / friendly rescue (Horde). These turn off world quests in the area and are available in the port of Morals / DakarValor as soon as their level 50 has reached. These Mecca cats are among the special mounts of Decagon. Source: unlock Mechagon
Decagon unlock — this quest you need
If you have completed the discovery of Avatars, you can take in the bases of the Alliance and the Horde in NASCAR Quests, who send you to DakarValor and Morals — or you just go directly there and talk near the air champion with Gallows (Horde) Or Tüftlermeister high function (Alliance). These then give you the quest The Legend of Decagon, which is the key for the activation of the island. There is also a sweeping aircraft to get in Decagon. Source: Blizzard
